In March 2017, 8 Miles acquired a 20% stake in Blue Skies Holdings Limited, a leader in the production of fresh-cut tropical fruit for European supermarkets.

The company was founded by Anthony Pile in 1997. It currently has operations in Ghana, South Africa, Egypt and Senegal, employing more than 4,000 people. Blue Skies posted revenues of US$161 million for the year ending December 2022.

8 Miles exited its stake in Q2 2023.
